Julia: There are a variety of ways of using Julia:

  • There is a juliabox server for this section here.

  • You can install Julia on your own computer or run it as a binder image over the internet. See the instructions at https://mth229.github.io/.

  • An older version of Julia is installed on the machines in 1S-108.

Projects: There are 10 projects due in webworks.

The answers for each project will be submitted via webworks.

Exams: There will a final exam at the end of the semester. You must take the final exam at the time scheduled by the university. You may not use a phone during exams.

  • Final: TBA

Grading: The course grade will be determined as follows: Projects 40%, in class quizzes 40% and Final 20%. You must pass the exams and quizzes to pass this course.

Attendance: Attendance is mandatory.
