Course description: This course will bridge and reinforce topics and skills needed for and covered in College Algebra and Trigonometry (MTH 123). We will solve problems using exponents, rational expressions, word problems, inequalities, linear functions, quadratic functions, exponentials and logarithms, and other related topics.

Textbook Precalculus Stewart, Redlin, Watson, Precalculus, 7th Edition with WebAssign. Brooks/Cole, Cengage Learning (2015). ISBN# 978-1305071759 (Same book used in MTH 123)

Grading This is a Pass-Fail class. Grade will be based on attendance and participation. Students will need to attend and participate in at least 10 classes in order to pass. Students who miss 4 or more classes will receive an F; students who miss 12 or more classes will receive a WU (Withdrew Unofficially).
