Here are the solutions to today's quiz.

Reminder: we have a quiz tomorrow and our second midterm next Wednesday.

The quiz, to be held tomorrow on Wednesday, November 19th, will be on Section 6.1.

The midterm, to be held Wednesday, November 16th, will probably go through Section 6.2, but I'll decide for sure later this week. The exam will have a similar format as the first one. You're permitted a sheet of notes, same rules as before. You can find some old exams in the archive.

Our second midterm is scheduled for Wednesday, November 26th, which is the day before Thanksgiving. I'm considering moving it to Monday, November 24th. Please send me an email if you have a strong preference for keeping it on Wednesday or moving it to Monday. Also please note that even if we move the exam to Monday, I won't be able to return the graded exams until after Thanksgiving.

Today's quiz will be delayed until Wednesday, because Webwork has been down since at least sometime yesterday. I don't think it's fair to make you take the quiz when you can't look back at the old homework questions and their solutions.

Office hours this morning are delayed till approximately 11:05am this morning because I have to do a course observation in our department. This is the last one of the semester so after this office hours should be normal again. Also sorry for the repeated announcements on Brightspace and here, I just wanted to make sure everyone got the message.
