Julia: There are several ways to access Julia:

You can use Julia on the lab computers in 1S-108 (without storing work).
You can access Julia online by login with your password (type it carefully on your first login).
You can install Julia on your own computer: See the instructions at https://mth229.github.io/.
You can use Julia online (without storing work and 10-min inactivity timeout) at https://mybinder.org/v2/gh/mth229/229-projects/HEAD

Projects: There are 10 projects due. You must load and work on each project in a Julia notebook. Your answers must be submitted on Webwork for Math 229-21733. You can cut and paste your answers from Julia into Webwork. Helpful notes about the projects are at https://mth229.github.io/.

In a Julia notebook, you can "run" cells by (1) shift-enter, or (2) click on the "Run" button, or (3) click on "Cell" then "Run all". If you open a new Julia notebook, remember to run the first cell.

Final Exam: You must take the final exam at the time scheduled by the college. You may not use a phone, calculator or other websites during the exam.

Grading: The course grade will be determined by your grades on the Julia projects, quizzes and final exam. You must pass the quizzes and final exam to pass this course.

Attendance policy: Attendance is mandatory. Unauthorized absences from three or more classes will result in a course grade of WU (Withdrew Unofficially).
