I attended University of Science and Technology of China. In 1998 I moved to Houston, Texas to attend Rice University, and was awarded a Ph.D. in Mathematics in 2003.
I spent a year at University of Oklahoma where I was a visiting assistant professor in Math Dept.
I was an assistant professor (post-doctoral) at Math department of the University of Michigan, 2004-2007.
I was on a research fellowship at MSRI in Berkeley, CA, during fall 2007.
I am now a professor at CUNY-Staten Island and the Graduate Center.
I am a driving machine.
States Visited (spent at least one night to qualify): 45.
Yet to go: Alabama, Mississippi, North Dakota, West Virginia, Wisconsin.

I follow Houston Texans and now a giant New York Giants fan. Support Rice Owls baseball!
I follow college football, especially the Michigan Wolverines and the Oklahoma Sooners,
I used to play indoor competitive badminton (the evilminton), and now tennis almost exclusively.
