I am currently an Assistant Professor at the City University of New York--College of Staten Island. I work in Mathematical Logic and Computability Theory. In particular, I am most interested in applications of Computability Theory to Algebra and other branches of Mathematics.
I previously held postdoctoral positions at Vanderbilt University and the University of Waterloo.
I received my PhD in June 2009 from the University of Chicago math department, under the guidance of professors Robert I. Soare, Denis R. Hirschfeldt, and Antonio Montalban. I received a BS from the University of Toronto in June 2004.
