Title: Sageev's cube complex construction Abstract: Michah Sageev showed that given a pocset (a partially ordered set with complementation), one can construct a CAT(0) cube complex from it in a natural way. By endowing groups with pocset structures, this gives us a nice method of cubulating groups. One example of this is Sageev's cubulation of groups containing codimension-1 subgroups, which can be used to prove that every hyperbolic 3-manifold group acts properly and cocompactly on a CAT(0) cube complex.
