Title: Alex Chigogidze and his mathematical legacy

Abstract: We knew Alex Chigogidze as the Dean of Science and Technology at CSI. He was also a prolific mathematician working in the field of Topology. The breadth and significance of his research is reflected by more than 100 publications as well as his role as the managing editor of a leading mathematics research journal. In this talk for a general audience, we will celebrate his remarkable life and explore the rich mathematical legacy of Alex Chigogidze.
