Job Opportunities in the Department of Mathematics Each semester The Department of Mathematics has approximately 25 full-time faculty, a few substitute faculty positions and 50 or more adjunct faculty teaching its courses. As such, we are often hiring.

The Department of Mathematics expects to advertise for one (and perhaps two) full-time faculty positions in the Fall of 2008.

The Department of Mathematics anticipates receiving a few substitute lines for Spring 2009. These lines are one-semester appointments and carry a 3-4 course teaching load.

The Department of Mathematics hires new adjuncts regularly. If you are interested in an adjunct position in Mathematics at the College of Staten Island and have a Masters degree in an appropriate area, please send a CV and a letter of interest to the chair of the department.
